Footprint makes recyclable, food-carrying products like trays, cups, coolers and more with a goal of helping to eliminate single-use plastics. The company employs more than 1,500 people in the U.S., Mexico, Asia and Europe and as part of the new R&D center opening, Footprint said it plans to boost hiring in Europe.
